Easter Write it & Wipe it Literacy Center

EASTER Literacy Center - Write it & Wipe it Cards

Give your students the gift of independence with these hands-on Easter Writing activity cards! Each card has a EASTER vocabulary word with space to print the word above. You will notice the letter boxes help your little ones with letter formation and assist in completing their independent work. :)


Product Details:

► These hands-on learning cards are the perfect tool to support your students' reading and spelling progress

► Consists of 48 EASTER Vocabulary Words 

► Print, cut apart (optional) and laminate (or use page protectors) 

► Children print the letters inside each letter box using dry erase markers or dry erase crayons. When finished, the letters can easily be wiped off and then reused! 

► Children can use the cards to build sentences (longer sentences can be constructed on long tables or the floor) 

► Cards may be used with pocket charts for further investigation as a class or independently (I use small tabletop pocket charts at my centre)

► Promotes Independence, reading, printing, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creative process, etc.

"Write It and Wipe It!" Literacy Centers - Printables

My kiddos just LOVE learning sight words/theme words with my "Write it and Wipe it" literacy centers and so I've been busy printing, cutting and laminating these reusable cards. I can honestly say that this sitting on my bedroom floor prepping my resources is seriously one of my favourite things to do. Seriously. I know some teachers can't stand this kind of thing, but I LOVE crafting and this is to is no different :)

Groundhog Day ELA Game - Printable Download

My kiddos love learning Groundhog Day vocabulary words with this Groundhog Day English Language Arts dice game:


Groundhog Day ELA Game
Simply print (there are 3 pages), cut and laminate if desired. Post them at your literacy centre or hand them out individually to your students. Students must roll a die. The die dictates which word they must write out. The first student who has completed a column (or the whole page) "wins".

This great game can be played alone or with friends :)

Learning Opportunities:

► Reading ‣ Students must read each sight word

► Subitizing ‣ amounts up to 6 (rolling the die)

► Matching ‣ Students match the number on the die to its corresponding sight word
